Cleanliness Drives
A clean surrounding is the first step to a healthy one. Our cleanliness drives bring volunteers together to remove waste from public places and to talk about why it matters.
What we clean
Our cleanliness drives cover public spaces, streets, riversides and neighbourhoods — especially areas that see heavy footfall or get overlooked in regular municipal cleaning. We often pair these drives with nearby plantation sites to maximise impact in one visit.
How we do it
Volunteers are provided with gloves and bags, and we collect and segregate waste on site — separating recyclable material from general waste. After the clean-up, we spend time talking with residents and shopkeepers about keeping the place clean going forward, not just for that one day.
Why it matters
A clean surrounding is the first step towards a healthy one. Litter and untreated waste affect not just the visual appeal of a place but also water bodies, soil and public health. Our drives aim to fix the immediate problem while building awareness that prevents it from returning.
Our progress
[CONFIRM] kg of waste has been collected through our drives so far, across [CONFIRM number] of clean-up events. [CONFIRM sites/locations and recyclable data if tracked]
Working with the community
We involve local residents, shopkeepers and municipal support wherever possible, so the drive isn't just volunteers cleaning up and leaving — it becomes a shared responsibility that the community carries forward.
Join a drive
Gloves and bags are provided — just bring a little time and willingness to get your hands dirty for a cause. Every drive, however small, keeps our city a little cleaner.
